Bernadette de Boysson
Bernadette de Boysson was appointed curator of the Bordeaux Musée des Beaux-Arts (Fine Arts Museum) in 1990 and headed the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Decorative Arts Museum) from 2000 to 2012. In 2005 she was promoted to the position of chief curator. Over the course of her career, she curated some 30 exhibitions at the two museums, including “Marie-Antoinette in Versailles: A Queen’s Taste” in 2005 and “Napoleon III and Eugénie Entertain in Fontainebleau: The Art of Living During the Second Empire” in 2011.
