Tupperware, meet with Vincent Jalet
In the occasion of the exhibition Oh couleurs ! the madd-bordeaux invites Vincent Jalet, the lab manager strategy of colors of Tupperware, to speak us during a Jeudi du design.
In the 1930s, chemists discovered techniques for adding dyes to the resins used to make plastics, thus offering designers and manufacturers a broad potential palette of colors. The example of Tupperware, an emblem of mass-market household products, provides a chronological history of color from the 1940s to the present day.
