Vase from the ceramic production factory C.A.B
This vase loaned by the private collector Robert Coustet is a excellent testimony of the ceramic production factory C.A.B (Céramique d’art de Bordeaux) born at the end of the first world war. The factory worked frequently for the famous department store Le Printemps which had at that time a reappointed decorative art workshop: Primavera. CAB’s production is characterized by an important technical research: cooking experiments, use of various terracotta, and a specific treatment of enamels.
