The boutique

The new MADD bookshop-boutique welcomes you in a completely redesigned space, located at the heart of the museum’s reception area.

Designed by the designer Jean-Baptiste Fastrez, the furniture was imagined from existing materials in the museum before the work, then reused in the form of shelves and storage furniture, in a logic of transformation and revaluation.

A selection of eclectic, original and exclusive objects is proposed, in direct connection with the museum’s news: its history, its collections and its exhibitions.

You will also discover a wide range of specialized works in decorative arts, highlighting heritage know-how. Design occupies a central place in the selection of the bookstore-boutique, which offers books, objects and stationery for adults and children.

Designed as an active stage, this space is also a place to highlight talents: a selection of works by artisans from the Bordeaux region is presented.
