The MADD Bordeaux partially reopens its doors on April 22, 2026. Under renovation, the mansion will be accessible to the public at the end of 2027.

Entry and PMR access
Free and priority admission for people with disabilities and their companions, upon presentation of proof.  

Opening hours

Every day 11am - 6pm 
Closed on Tuesdays and public holidays, except 14 July and 15 August 

Every Saturday 1 PM 2 PM 
The MADD offers you calm moment
Reduction of sound devices volume, brightness and noisy activities. In order for these moments to be pleasant and serene, everyone is invited to make as little noise as possible during their visit.

Student audience under 26 years old : 2€ 
Pass Musées Bordeaux : Solo 25 € / Duo 37,5 €
Free on the first Sunday of the month, except in July and August 


Gratuities 
To the Friends of MADD, to those under 18 years old, to holders of the Carte Jeune and their companion (for young people under 16 years old), to holders of the Bordeaux Museums Pass or a Bordeaux Métropole City Pass, to people with disabilities and their companion, to the beneficiaries of social minima (RSA, RSO, ASS, ADA, AV, ATA, ASI, AAH, ASPA...), to groups accompanied by an animator or a professional from a structure belonging to the social field domiciled in Bordeaux (animation center, social centers, unions, medico-social structure...), to the staff of the City of Bordeaux, the CCAS, Bordeaux Métropole and the School of Fine Arts of Bordeaux / EBABX (this gratuity does not extend to companions), to holders of a Pro Pass issued by the City of Bordeaux, to journalists, artists affiliated with the Maison des artistes and holders of the ICOM (International Council of Museums) card, the Icomos (International Council of Monuments and Sites) card and the guide-speaker card. 

Young Card 
Free for holders of the Youth Card (0-25 years) and the companion of the young person under 16 years.

Visitor comfort

The following items are available upon request at the museum reception desk:

  • a wheelchair
  • play mats for young children.

Library and documentation

La library and documentation service are open to researchers and students by appointment on Tuesdays.
