The MADD café
Banba is the new café-restaurant at MADD, created by Grace Lohan—founder of Café Ériu, its "little sister" establishment, whose name draws inspiration from Irish mythology. Banba was conceived as a vibrant, all-day destination where cuisine, culture, and creativity converge. From breakfast and lunch through to aperitif hour, the menu evolves with the seasons, celebrating quality ingredients and drawing inspiration from global flavors. It is complemented by carefully sourced coffee and a thoughtfully curated wine selection. From morning to evening, the museum courtyard becomes a welcoming space to linger—whether over coffee and a pastry, for a relaxed lunch, or to share a drink as dusk falls. Defined by a warm, laid-back welcome that embodies the spirit of Irish hospitality,
Banba aims to be a friendly, inclusive space for everyone. With a program of special dinner events, this new venue aspires to become a true hub for social connection and exchange.
